Our Learning Programs

AQVA offers training programs for individuals living with physical disabilities, allowing everyone to progress at their own pace. Combining theory and hands-on practice, our programs are designed to be accessible and rewarding, regardless of experience level.

We offer two advanced training programs: Learn-to-Sail Program for those wishing to sail independently, and the Learn-to-Race Program for those interested in competitive sailing.

Learn-to-Race Program

Have you completed CanSail 2 certification and are ready to take your sailing to the next level through racing? This program helps you refine your skills, from racing rules to regatta strategies, through a combination of theory and on-the-water practice.

Training sessions are held three times per week.

Our sailors have the opportunity to put their skills into practice at several regattas:

  • «La Coupe du Québec» by AQVA – held annually in July

  • Regatta for AQVA during FestiVoile AQVA – held annually in August

  • Adapted sailing regattas in Ontario

  • Mobility Cup, an international regatta bringing together adaptive sailing enthusiasts from across North America.
